Background
Uganda Catholic Management and Training Institute (UCMTI) was founded by the Grail Community as Uganda Catholic Social Training Centre in 1956. The Grail Community is an international movement of lay women committed to offering services through various Professions in the spirit of the Gospel. The Institute was then put under the ownership of the Uganda Episcopal Conference in 1969. Pope Paul VI blessed the Institute with joyful unveiling of its plaque in the same year. The Institute was licensed by National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) Reg: TL.PL 0062. In June 2021, NCHE granted UCMTI a Certificate of Classification and Registration (No.TI.0032)

UCMTI provides demand driven, specialized thematic training and organizational development services for groups and organizations.
